Call of Duty Staff dated the Season 1 intel blog October 28. The clock on that page is specific: Season 1 “goes live at 0000 (midnight) ET on November 6 (2100 PT on November 5) across all platforms.” That is Friday night into Saturday in the US. No downtime hour is printed. This desk already ran Shipment as an October 27 Core 6v6 add. The same blog now files Shipment as a pre-season map already in the playlist.

What the blog dates before November 6

Date on the blogModeWhat Activision printed
October 29 (today)PossessionNew pre-season party moshpit. Eliminate an enemy to possess them, take their location and Loadout. “You’ll always possess an eliminated enemy.”
October 30InfectedReturning. Infected spawn with the FSS Carbon Edge Combat Knife, a Throwing Knife, and Ninja. Survivors get the Rezi 12 with the Enforcer Apex Attachment, Trip Wire, and a Concussion Grenade.
November 2Warzone intelA separate blog and roadmap. This post names Hajin and Zodiac as new maps, plus Verdansk and Rebirth Island returning. Full Warzone detail is not in today’s file.
November 6, 12:00 a.m. ETSeason 1Multiplayer, DMZ, Battle Pass, and Warzone integration. 9:00 p.m. PT on November 5.

Possession and Infected are labeled Pre-Season on that page. The blog does not print a start hour for either Halloween mode. If a third-party clock is circulating for today, it is not on that post, so it stays off this page.

What Season 1 itself is supposed to add

  • Multiplayer maps at launch: Backstab, Canyon, and a reimagined Shoot House. Mid-season: Ministry, Overflow, and additional maps marked [CLASSIFIED]. Kill Block: Crash is a static three-slab combo, also in other Core playlists including Search and Destroy.
  • Modes at launch: Grind, Drop Zone, and Gauntlet 1v1 as part of the Wager Match Event. Mid-season names Counter Attack; another mode is described as a twist on Team Deathmatch without a title in this post.
  • DMZ: X01, a former GRANIT Arms black site on the edge of Hajin. Ghost is the Watcher. New enemies, items, and equipment are [CLASSIFIED] on this page. FOB gets a Battle Pass/Store station. Boss Board names Tae-Hyun (“Knuckle”), Chol-Min (“The Wrench”), and The Captain. An additional autonomous patrolling commander is named on that page; the public post we checked did not finish the name.
  • Weapons in the Battle Pass at launch: Cronen Osprey assault rifle (Tier 16; 882 RPM, 30-round mag in the blog) and CSG-35 SMG (Tier 36; 1200 RPM). Later: JAK 12 shotgun and ZLR Talonhawk melee, both event rewards. Apex Attachments named: Cronen Helix Mk. II, CSG Crossfire, JAK Barrage, plus in-season Hyeon Auto, Kastov 545, and an M16 Burst attachment for the M4.

The premium Battle Pass is 1,100 COD Points on that page; a Battle Pass Bundle is 2,400. Those are Activision’s COD Point figures, not a dollar conversion. Weekly Challenges “will not be available in Season 1.” Operators named for the season: Blix (Battle Pass instant reward) and BlackCell’s XERO. Vault Edition owners unlock this season’s BlackCell offering, per the same blog.
