Nintendo Indie World dates Witchbrook January 28, 2027 — plus a Switch 2 slate through next year
The Oct 28 showcase ran about 15 minutes from 10 a.m. ET. Nintendo’s recap pins Chucklefish’s witch life sim to Switch 2 and Switch. Gematsu and IGN add PC, Xbox, and a new PS5 SKU the same day.
Nintendo’s October Indie World Showcase ran this morning. Nintendo Life timed it at 10 a.m. ET / 7 a.m. PT and about 15 minutes. Nintendo Everything reprinted the official recap after the stream. This is a dated list from that recap, not a trailer recap and not a review.
Witchbrook — January 28, 2027
Chucklefish’s witch life sim opened the show. Nintendo’s recap: enroll at Witchbrook College in the seaside town of Mossport, up to four players online, Switch 2 and Switch on January 28, 2027. That is the Nintendo-platform line. It is not the whole SKU list.
IGN, same day: PC, Nintendo Switch, Switch 2, and Xbox on January 28, with a PlayStation 5 version confirmed outside the showcase. Gematsu, also today, prints PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Switch 2, Xbox One, Switch, and PC via Steam and the Microsoft Store on that same date, Game Pass on day one, and calls the PS5 SKU newly announced. We are holding Nintendo for Switch. We are holding Gematsu for the wider list, including Xbox One and Game Pass. IGN did not print Xbox One or Game Pass in the recap we checked.

Tenjutsu’s setting does not match across recaps. Nintendo’s copy puts it in Secret Garden City. IGN’s recap puts it in Kuroboro City. Both date Switch 2 in 2027 and credit the Dead Cells designer. We are not picking a city.
