When does Phantom Blade Zero unlock? Oct 28–29 launch times, explained

Phantom Blade Zero’s digital launch is Thursday, October 29, 2026 on PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store. That date is S-GAME’s, as relayed by Gematsu with the October 21 launch trailer. Steam’s product page, checked today, prints “Oct 28, 2026.” Those two dates are the same unlock in different time zones, not two street dates. Physical Standard, Deluxe, and Ultimate PS5 editions are dated 2027 with no month on that Gematsu post.

The clock, and where it is printed

Gematsu’s trailer post stops at the calendar date. The hour is not on that page. KeenGamer, publishing October 22, says S-GAME posted the final launch schedule on the official Phantom Blade Zero account on X and anchors the unlock to 10:00 AM Beijing Time on October 29, with preload two days earlier at the same hour. Playnews independently reads the PlayStation Store listing as October 29, 2026 at 02:00 UTC. 02:00 UTC on October 29 is 10:00 AM in Beijing. We have not opened the PlayStation Store row ourselves in this check.

If you are holding Gematsu as the primary source, the date is October 29 and the hour is not on that page. If you are holding KeenGamer’s conversion of the official X graphic, North America plays on the evening of October 28. Steam’s October 28 line matches that Pacific conversion. Europe has already switched off daylight saving; the US has not. That is why the American row falls on Wednesday evening.

What launches, and what waits

Digital only at launch: PlayStation 5 and Windows PC. Gematsu and KeenGamer both say there is no early-access window for Digital Deluxe. KeenGamer’s edition list — Standard and Digital Deluxe, plus a Treasure Basin / Legacy outfit pre-order unlock — is from that same October 22 writeup, not from a store page we opened today, so treat the dollar figures there as theirs. Xbox, Switch 2, and Game Pass are not in the Gematsu launch post. Physical PS5 boxes are 2027; S-GAME has not printed a month, a price, or a retailer on that announcement.
