NBA 2K27 and 2K26 locker codes: every live code, and the one everyone files wrong

NBA 2K27 went into early access on August 26, 2026 for Deluxe and Ultra buyers and launches worldwide on September 4. It is the first NBA 2K to drop last-gen entirely — PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch 2 and PC only.

These work today. Codes are not case sensitive, but the hyphens are not optional — the field reads them literally. Most locker codes die inside a week, so treat anything here as a this-session job.

The code everyone files wrong

NBA-2K27-COVER-ATHLETES is the most-shared “2K27” code on the internet and it is not a 2K27 code. It redeems in NBA 2K26 MyTEAM. 2K cut it to promote the 2K27 cover reveal and named it after the thing it was promoting rather than the game it works in — standard practice for 2K, and it catches out most codes sites.

It is the most generous drop of the year and worth doing before it rotates: an Invincible Victor Wembanyama, an Invincible Caitlin Clark, and a G.O.A.T. Derrick Rose. Three guaranteed cards from the two highest tiers in the mode. Inside 2K27 it will do nothing at all.

Going on the previous cycle, the first 2K27 codes land during early access and launch week rather than waiting for September 4. 2K posts them to the NBA 2K X account, in-game, and through Locker Code events on launch streams. We check daily and date every entry.

What you can claim in 2K27 today

Season 1 Twitch Drops are the only live reward channel tied to 2K27 itself, running through September 22, 2026. Link your Twitch account to your 2K account first — drops earned before linking do not backfill.

How to redeem

1. In MyTEAM: open the Market tab, choose Locker Codes, enter the code, and hit Done.
2. In MyCAREER: open Options/Quit while you are in The City.
3. Or use the NBA 2K mobile app, which works without turning the console on — the fastest option when a code drops while you are out.
4. Include the hyphens. Case does not matter; the hyphens do.

The vault: expired codes
